Validation & Conflict Resolution Workshop

Lovers spats, the angst years, and compassion fatigue are common experiences many people face in difficult times. Strained relationships are often at the heart of each of these experiences and yet these conflicts do not subside easily. In these workshops, we are committed to providing people in our community with practical and simple tools to re-frame conflicts, express empathy, rebuild rapport, and encourage growth in relationships that matter most to you.

Jade Wurster will be co-leading each lecture format workshop with role-playing and active discussions present. As there are limited seats available, RSVP is required via email or phone to sign up today! Additionally, to secure your space, you may send $20 through Google Pay to reveal@artofbalancechi.com with the memo, "workshop - validation 6/25/18" or secure your seat through PayPal by clicking on the button below and following the steps to complete your purchase.

Please arrive 10 minutes early to the office and to ensure enough time to secure street parking if a Cubs game or event is active in the area. If you have any questions about this workshop, future workshops like this, or your time of arrival, please contact us at 872-201-8326 and request Jade for more information or send an email at reveal@artofbalancechi.com.

Art as Therapy Support Group - 10 week, open group

Art is more than a creative outlet, art becomes a voice for your personal experience of the world - art becomes the catalyst that opens an internal door to your innovation and creativity that may not be accessible initially. Art of Balance is offering a space for people looking to tap into this part of you for a complete expression of yourself and to allow play to re-enter into your life. Additionally, for emotions expressed through art making, art also becomes a container for experiences that are difficult to communicate or express in words alone.

This Art as Therapy Support Group will begin on Monday, June 11, from 6:30P - 8:30P and will occur on 6/18, 6/25, 7/2, 7/9, 7/16, 7/30, 8/6, 8/13, and until the last session, August 20. The max number of participants during any given session is 6 people. As this group is open, interested participants may join the group at any time, following a brief interview with Jade and then an RSVP for specific dates. Those who've participated in an earlier session will receive priority to reserve their seat for three days following their last session (every Thursday, 9:30P CT) before new participants are invited to join the group. Those on a waitlist for the support group will be contacted in order of received requests to join the next group session.

Those who participate in 7 out of 10 total sessions will have the opportunity to showcase artwork at our location for the month of August 2018.

As Jade's support groups are a unique, safe space to discover harmony and connection within themselves and with their community members, prior RSVP a day before the event and a brief 15 minute interview with Jade is required. Please request Jade through our office line (872-201-8326) and request participation in an active or upcoming Art as Therapy support group. As space is limited, secure your space today!

To ensure that future Art as Therapy support groups occur, a contribution of $10 - $20 is requested, and not required, to help with replacing used art supplies and acquiring higher quality materials for our location. To secure your spot or to support future support groups like this one, add your contribution amount of $10, $15, or $20 through Google Pay to reveal@artofbalancechi.com with the memo, "art as therapy 6/11/18" or through PayPal by clicking on the button below and completing the steps.
